Information
Mastercard Worldwide processes billions of
credit card transactions across the globe. They do business in over 210 different
countries worlwide. Mastercard was created in 1966 when a collection of banks created a
member owned association which was later to become Mastercard. Two years later Mastercard
expanded into Europe, Mexico and Japan. Throughout the years it continued to expand into
its huge worldwide presence in the credit card processing market.
